In May 2010, I took my first trip to Europe.  It started with a few days in Rome, Italy.  After visiting such historical places such as the Vatican, Colosseum and Trevi Fountain to name a few, we were off on a 12-night Eastern and Mediterranean Cruise. We departed out of Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy and our port of calls included Naples, Capri, Italy; Piraeus (Athens) Greece; Rhodes, Greece; Kusadasi (Ephesus), Turkey; Alexandria, Egypt and Messina (Sicily), Italy.  This was one of my WOW vacations and I managed to cross off some items on my bucket list.
